The detectives are working tirelessly on our case and a few others as well. I do not envy their job and am grateful for their efforts. It has been a tough month with all that has been going on in San Diego. I know that people are giving their all.
I want to say to the Dubois and King family that my heart breaks over what you are having to endure right now. As a father of three girls (Joe has the 3 boys) I can only pray that you find peace and rest in this time as you grieve. It is almost unbearable at times I’m sure.
Thank You for all the support and encouragement from everyone who has given of themselves in some way or another. I hope that we can all work toward the common goal of finding our family and bring them home safely.

Why is this not getting national attention???? I live in Chicago and have not heard anything about it??????? That is a travesty……..I stumbled on the McStay family on AOL news a few days ago but haven’t heard anything about it locally. This needs more media (national) attention!!!!! My heart and prayers go out to the family. I hope they are found alive and well!

I ask the same question as Kim….Why is this family not receiving national attention? I am completely baffled as to why their faces are not on every news channel, everywhere. There are many stories of missing persons that are seen nationwide within days of their disappearance…..the McStay family has been missing for over a month and it seems to only be mostly receiving local attention in San Diego County.
The story was on AMW for about 10 seconds. It was also on Nancy Grace but it’s not on the regular daily prime time news. What is going on here?

My family and I are good friends with Joesph, Summer & the kids. I can only imagine what their family is feeling right now. I am sure that all people involved in this case are working hard on it, but I agree that there needs to be more coverage. There are people in San Clemente that have not heard about this. I wish there was more that we can do, hand out fliers with their info, anything! There is not an hour that passes that my husband and I don’t think about this wonderful family. We pray for all of you and will not give up hope!
This needs to be on the news. I think about these boys all the time also. There are people in Ladera Ranch that know nothing about this case. How can they get found if enough people do not know about it? It makes me upset. Two missing children. Needs national news and international news.

I also agree that there needs to be much more media attention– this is an entire family, people, where are the amber alerts, etc. I find this very disturbing.
