Hello, I just saw your family’s story on E news
And this is the first I have heard of it. I am so
Sorry for the agony you are going through and
I pray and hope for the safe return of the Mcstay
Family. I took the liberty and looked up your
Son Joey on Facebook and I noticed a picture
In his profile of three boys, it is in his photos of
His family and the three boys look like his three
Sons except they are older than when they
Disappeared. I am just curious as to is this a recent
Photo of the two young boys and their older
Brother on a beach? And I also couldn’t help but
Notice that the dates on the pictures upload was
April 9, 2011. If they became missing February
4, 2010, how did the photos get uploaded at that
Date? Also there are pictures of Joey with his head
Shaved (bald). I didn’t see any pictures of his
Wife summer on his profile not even in his wedding
Photos, just of him and his boys. I hope I am not
Offending anyone, that is not my intention at all.
Just some observations I made. I also know that
People make fake profiles on Facebook. Just seems odd
As does the whole disappearance of this lovely
Family. My prayers are with you and the safe return
Of your loved ones. I can’t help but say that through
All I have seen on the story of them missing and
Reading all the posts on here that I am in agreeance
With many that Summer had/has something to
Do with their disappearance. With her lying about
Her age and the several name changes she had.
What is it in her past that she was hiding from?
Why was she lying about her age? It is all mysterious
And very interesting as to all the different scenarios
Of their disappearance. I pray that the truth shall
Prevail and all is well n have a safe return home.

My husband and I saw the E! story on your familys disappearance. It has really stuck with me. I really hope that it has reached enough people that someone will come forward. We watch quite a few of these stories on tv, but this one feels different for me. I really feel that they are alive and out there somewhere. I feel so.heatbroken for.your family and will pray for answers for you guys. God Bless.
Does any one know if a search was ever conducted by the bridge by the cell tower. I understand the terrain is rough but certainly LEA or even volunteer organizations could do a search there. Does anyone know if any of these search teams were ever contacted. If this is all a repeat of whats already been covered, I appologize. I have only been on this site for a litte over a month.

Glad I found this site! Good theories. How in hades whas the bonsall tower area never searched?? By anyone? Hell, *I* may go there and search myself!
I looked up Witness Protection Info. They don’t seem to fit the criteria to be in that. The program is mostly criminal related and related to a pending investigation or trial. From the E documentary and the other posts I’ve read, it doesn’t look like anything of that nature was happening– if there was a trial, it would be public record as far as who is testifying, etc. There’s none of that. I’m not convinced it’s them at the border either. Lots of people cross that border. I don’t know- it’s one of the saddest and most haunting things I’ve ever immersed myself into. Only Summer and Joseph know what’s happened. I pray for their families.

I saw that Joey’s brother reads all of the posts on this page…why doesn’t e, or someone, reply to all of the comments. All of these people are taking time to send good wishes and employing possible places to search.
Danielle, can you imagine the time it would take to respond to all the posts in this book? I’m sure he’s grateful but I imagine following up on leads, working at a job, raising a family and having a wife must be time consuming. He can’t do everything you know.

Any updates? I am haunted by this. I cannot start to imagen what their family and friends must be going through. There must be someone who knows what happened to them or where they are. Must be. I shall continue to pray for their safe and fast return.

I was just thinking about this last night, but I was curious if anyone has ever looked up business in Mexico or Costa Rica that do the same thing as what Joey was doign here, the waterfalls? I’m not sure exactly the details of his company, like if he was actually the one constructing these waterfalls or if his business partner was the one doing this, but I figured if it is something he knows and is obviously good at, he might try to start his own business doing the same where ever he is at now. Not sure how popular the waterfall business is, but in looking at the website they keep showing on the news programs, the type I am mainly seeing doesn’t look as common as your typical round stone waterfalls. Just a thought to maybe look into?
Its obvous the proper authorities whether it be fbi, local law enforcment or whoever is not exausting all lead and avenues that could be explore

I’m currently watching “Disappeared”, it’s a one-hour documentary on the disappearance of your family, airing on the TLC channel in The Netherlands right now. I was searching the internet, hoping to see they were no longer missing. Unfortunately they still have not been found. I can not imagine how that must feel to all their friends and family. I sincerely hope they will be found soon and you all will be reunited. Until that time I wish you a lot of strength and I urge anybody who knows anything, not to keep silent any longer. @Krystal Payne- I agree with you! I found Joeys FB and noticed there was not ONE SINGLE PICTURE of Summer. Who posts pics of their wedding and doesn’t include their bride? Is it someone pretending to be Joey? I don’t know. If it is real then I think Mikey, his brother, probably updated it.
I’ve posted before, I live near Fallbrook and this case haunts me. Whatever the circumstances may be, I pray everyone can be found safe and sound.
