New TV Show

Law Enforcement, family and friends sat down this week with another film crew to shoot more video and answer questions. Detective Dugal, who cracked a rib over the weekend riding motorcycles with his son, still spent the entire day on Monday with the film crew.

I thought I was prepared to go back to Joey and Summer’s house again to do the filming, but as I sat in the empty house, void of the hustle and bustle, my heart ached in wondering if my family was safe. I am all too well aware that it has been nine months, and the statistics are not in our favor.

It’s hard to believe it has been nine months since your family disappeared. I know that it must be hard to keep hope after all this time but I still believe there can be a happy ending. I wish I knew something, as I’m sure everyone does. It’s very frightening to know that an entire family can just vanish like this. And it seems that authorities still have no real clues as to what happened (though I’m sure they’re doing their best). I’m sorry for all that your family has been through; I can’t even imagine. No one should ever have to go through what you’ve been through.

I read a few other posts that mentioned Nancy Grace…maybe she would be a good resource? I was wondering about the show 48 Hours Mystery; I’m not sure if they do investigating or just reporting but it seems to be a quality show and maybe they could help somehow in the investigation.

Did the show already air on Lifetime? If not, when does it air?

I’m praying for the safe return of the McStay family. I wish you and your family peace, joy, and love. Take care and God Bless.

First my prayers for this family. My sincere hope is that this family is safe, happy, and living a good life where ever they are. I sincerely hope, if this is the case, that the family left behind gets verifiable information saying the family is safe. That being said I find this to be a very strange case. With all due respect to the family there is something amiss. No ransom, no bank accounts being touched, no known legal, financial, or marital troubles in the family. The toys in the car? I’m not sure what to think but, as a former police officer, I know their is a motive for everything. There is something that the police, family, and friends are missing. There is something no one, apparently, knows about. I read that the police are at least aware of the business partners past and have looked at him. I’m not saying he is involved. We all make mistakes and past mistakes don’t necessarily mean future ones but, as with all potential crimes, the persons closest to the victim have to be looked at first. I too wonder about the stocky man, in the border film, that was to the right of that family and who the child appeared to look at. But again if they were going to mexico they were totally unprepaired as far as we know. It’s the most bizzare case I have ever heard of. Sorry for rambling, I know I have not said anything the police are not already thinking. In closing I pray for a safe return of this family and I pray that closure comes soon. God Bless, Matt.

After watching the episode of Disappeared, it cant be witness protection, they would never leave the dogs if that were the case. They also never mentioned if the their credit cards were used or there were any pings from his cell phone during the 4 days until the car was found. I found that very odd. Wondering if maybe it was a contractor that might have done something. They were having work done on the house. Just some thoughts.
    God Bless your family

I think one day you will find out what happened to your family and at least then you will know. I know the hardest part is not knowing. Maybe a new set of eyes looking at the case would help but im not sure. It just amazes me that with all the modern technology, cameras and so forth that four human beings can drop from the face of the earth and no clues to the dissapearences at all. I too think a harder look at the people working on the house would be a good idea. Who knows maybe the computer look up from their home about entering Mexico may have been done by someone else who was in the home working. Also have the neighbors been checked out. And if there was so much money in their bank account then if there was foul play then why was it not emptied out. I don’t blame the mom not wanting to go into Mexico since there is so much going on there. I pray that your family find all the answers to what has happened to your family. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Has anyone checked to see if one of them had rented storage units in the area or close to former house? Could be in one of wifes alias’s. And usually a credit check is run, so it may be on credit report if she/he had? Unless they paid cash upfront. My husband managaes a storage facility and there is all types of interesting things happening there. Often he gets FBI looking for drugs, stolen stuff etc. Not implying that the McStays are doing anything illegal. But it may lead to other contacts associated with them that may know something.

I am as everybody else is … Praying for your family and their well being, with that said, I also would like to share my thoughts of sadness and agony for the McStays story as first and foremost I am a father and I feel for the 2 little boys and sometimes think as I go to sleep if they are also sleeping like the rest of us. Ever since this case surfaced I have not lost faith, hope, or interest for it because I am very moved by it and wish I could help in any way shape or form. It is frustrating to kno 4 human beings are nowhere to be found and also the circumstances in which they dissaapeared (money untouched, dogs left behind, toys left, etc) it’s eats me up how or why this happened.
My Prayers are always with u and I hope the MCSTAYS are living a good – happy and healthy life. Ciao.
